
Mircea Viorel Vicleanu - violist
Born on July 19, 1992 in Galati, he made a remarkable career in the world of classical music. He began studying the violin at the age of 5, attending the "Dimitrie Cuclin" High School of Arts in Galati, where he was recognized with numerous prizes at national and international competitions in Romania, Italy and France.
He continued his training at the National University of Music in Bucharest, where he perfected his technique and interpretative expressiveness. In 2021, upon completion of his master's degree, he switched from the violin to the viola, making this instrument the centerpiece of his career.
He currently performs as a violist in the orchestra of the National Opera and Operetta Theater "Nae Leonard" in Galati and teaches violin and viola at the "Dimitrie Cuclin" Art High School, contributing to the formation of the new generation of musicians. His dedication to music, both as a performer and as a teacher, places him among the most appreciated musicians of the local community.
